What are we looking for?

At Urbanitae, we are seeking a VP Real Estate Portugal and other details who will work in the Real Estate department.

• Strong, 5+ years of experience in the Real Estate or financial sector in a managerial role related to Real Estate;
• Deep knowledge of Real Estate M&A structuring deals, with a focus on the corporate, fiscal, and legal framework in the Portuguese market;
• Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues;
• Creative, entrepreneurial mindset;
• Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion;
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
• Desirable Real Estate investment firm experience;
• Excellent computer proficiency (Google GSuite, MS Office);
• Time management and planning skills;
• Fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and English.
  
  
  

What will you do?

• Be responsible for all the deals analysed, approved, and funded. Be the owner of the deals from origination until closing;
• Be responsible for the closing stage by pivoting the relationship between the stakeholders of each operation;
• Manage professionally and responsibly the relationship with the developers;
• Present the deals in front of the investment committee with all the information properly analyzed and structured;
• Manage the team of analysts and associates and make them grow.

Steps of the process:

The process consists of 3 phases:

• First interview with Simão Cruz (Country Director Portugal) to assess transversal competencies. It will last 30 minutes.
• Interview with Ignacio Prieto (VP Real Estate) to assess technical skills and those specific to the position. Duration: 1 hour.
• Final interview with Sergio Arana (Director Real Estate) to assess cultural fit. Duration: 30 minutes.
• Final interview with Sandra Sánchez (Head of HR) to assess job offer terms and conditions. Duration: 30 minutes.
