Job Description
As an Ad Operations Specialist specializing in Performance Trading, you will play a crucial role in activating and optimizing our programmatic campaigns to achieve exceptional performance for our clients in a rapidly evolving, cookieless advertising environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Contextual Performance Expertise: Become a subject matter expert in contextual performance, specifically focusing on activating and optimizing campaigns with cookieless signals to achieve advertiser goals across diverse international markets.
-Campaign Setup & Activation: Efficiently and accurately implement and activate advertising campaigns on various operational platforms, ensuring all technical specifications and client objectives are meticulously met.
-Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Proactively monitor campaign performance, conducting in-depth analysis and making continuous, data-driven adjustments to optimize results against key performance indicators (KPIs) such as leads, qualified traffic, and conversions. Understand and leverage DSP algorithms to maximize campaign effectiveness.
-Technical Support & Analysis: Provide insightful quantitative and qualitative data to internal teams, assisting in the correct interpretation of metrics and offering technical guidance to resolve complex campaign-related queries.
-Technical Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and swiftly resolve technical issues impacting campaign delivery and performance, coordinating seamlessly with relevant internal teams and adhering to established protocols.
-Operational Excellence & Innovation: Champion the adoption of best practices concerning internal and external tools and processes, ensuring consistency, scalability, and adherence to our operational excellence standards. Actively explore and test new platform features and optimization strategies to enhance campaign delivery and efficiency.
-Data-Driven Decision Making: Work in a highly automated environment, leveraging your strong analytical capabilities to process and interpret complex datasets, informing strategic optimization decisions.
-Experience: 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in ad operations, account management, or client success within the digital advertising industry, with a demonstrable focus on performance campaigns (e.g., lead generation, qualified traffic).
-Platform Proficiency: Strong working knowledge and experience with various advertising platforms including DSPs (e.g., Xandr, Display & Video 360, SmartRTB+), Ad Servers, SSPs, and analytics suites (e.g., Google Analytics, Turnillo, Redash).
-Programmatic Understanding: Solid grasp of the programmatic advertising ecosystem, including the creation of Private Marketplaces (PMPs) and the ability to tailor campaign strategies based on different KPIs.
-Analytical Acumen: Exceptional analytical capabilities with a passion for optimizing campaign performance through data. Highly data-centred, proficient in working with and processing large datasets using Excel/spreadsheets (formulas, dynamic tables) or other data manipulation tools.
-Adaptability & Growth Mindset: Eager and curious to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends. Ability to grow with a fast-paced, expanding company.
-Work Ethic: Capable of working both independently and autonomously while also being a strong team player with excellent communication skills.
