Rebag has had its office in Tokyo since 2017(REBAG JAPAN G.K.), and is looking for a full-time Operations Associate individual. This is a phenomenal opportunity to join a very fast-growing startup in its early stages and to write the future of collaborative luxury.

Reports remotely directly to Japan Operations Manager and works with members of the Operations/Buying/Bizdev team in Japan and the US.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and filing forms and other documents.
  • Updating logs and order forms.
  • Analyzing all operations and forwarding suggestions for improvement to the Manager.
  • Take care of overall office needs.
    • (e.g. Handling phone calls from vendors/partners, purchasing office supplies, communication with providers, coordination of office repairs, documents handling, etc.)
  • Scheduling meetings and team building sessions as required.
  • Provide support to Operations manager and team members as and when required.
  • Communication with logistics partners/Resolve issues regarding shipment. o Provide all pertinent shipping information needed to logistics.
    • (e.g. Create shipping lists with all the necessary information and send it to the logistics before the merchandise arrives to the warehouse)
  • Daily update and monitoring of all shipping from Japan in our inventory system.
    • (e.g. Update each order into our system as soon as we receive the shipping schedule with all tracking information from logistics)
  • Communication with NY Head Quarter.
    • (e.g. Inquiries related to the shipment from Japan. Basically, with HQ operations team and buying team).

What We Expect You to Bring To The Table

  • Must be living in Latin America
  • Must be bilingual with fluency in English and especially Japanese (Written and Verbal).
  • "Hands on" attitude; hard-working, can work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive, high energy, team spirited, Collaboration and Open mind.
  • Detail-oriented and accurate (Data Entry Skills, Data Processing Skills, Reporting Skills, Analytical Skills.)
  • Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable and efficient in MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Previous experience in retail & logistics (WMS) is ideal.
  • Availability to work with different time zones.
