At Preply, Finance is the backbone of strategic decision-making - enabling growth, ensuring accuracy, and driving performance. Our team spans FP&A, Accounting, Treasury, Legal, and Compliance, bringing together a diverse, international group united by flat hierarchies and a strong sense of ownership.

As part of the Finance & Strategy team, you’ll work closely with senior leaders to deliver clarity and insight through advanced financial modeling, scenario planning, and business forecasting. Our mission is to build a best-in-class financial ecosystem that empowers data-driven decisions and supports operational excellence as Preply continues to scale.

What you’ll be doing:

• Own and maintain Preply’s end-to-end business model and long-range financial plan across both B2C and B2B.
• Build and manage scenario planning tools to support executive decision-making and investor conversations.
• Partner cross-functionally with senior stakeholders in Product, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to ensure alignment on key assumptions and performance drivers.
• Translate complex business dynamics into structured, data-driven insights using advanced modeling in Excel/Sheets.
• Ensure the business plan is always up-to-date, accurate, and actionable.
• Identify and communicate financial risks and opportunities based on deep dives and forecasting variance analysis.

What you need to succeed:

• +3-5 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or a strategic FP&A role in a high-growth tech company.
• Outstanding Excel/Google Sheets modeling skills - you can build from scratch, audit others’ models, and simplify complexity.
• Strategic thinker with a strong business acumen and the ability to connect financial outcomes with operational drivers.
• Exceptional attention to detail, with a rigorous and structured approach to financial analysis.
• Proven ability to work independently, take full ownership of projects, and drive them forward in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable presenting insights and influencing decision-making across senior stakeholders.
• Highly organized, analytical, and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
• Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
