This position is office-based hybrid (Munich or Berlin) OR Remote Germany (if not based in either location)

You will become part of our newest sales team in Germany and will be responsible for shaping and developing the sales processes for launch of our new payroll product. As Payroll Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for winning the business of existing accounts for Personio Payroll.
Role Responsibilities: What you'll do
  • New Business Generation: You will expand existing accounts (we have 12K+ customers) and win them as Personio Payroll users.

  • Sales Process: You will manage the full sales cycle from Marketing Qualified Leads MQLs of existing customers until closing.

  • Payroll SME: You will act as a subject-matter expert and trusted advisor for our payroll product across the sales process. With a hunter mindset, you are not only explaining our product, but selling a solution after identifying the customer's need.

  • Building the Market: You will play a significant role in building and strategically developing the German market for Personio Payroll within our existing business.

  • Product Collaboration: Your feedback will help the product development team to further adapt the Payroll product to the needs of our customers.

  • Lead Generation: You will participate in the development and execution of lead generation strategies with the sales development as well as marketing team.

  • Collaboration: You will work cross functionally with the Revenue & Success teams, Solution Engineering, Partnerships to integrate Personio into the customer's existing IT landscape.

Role Requirements: What you need to succeed
  • Open for various experience levels +2 years of end-to-end sales closing experience in SaaS sales with Payroll / Finance solutions preferred (or a keen interest in this area)
  • Stakeholder management: cooperation with Payroll, HR, IT and C-level teams accompany you in everyday life as well as ongoing exchange with internal teams such as product, legal and sales management.
  • Curiosity:You are inquisitive and enjoy familiarizing yourself with new topics and products.
  • Ambition: You operate with accurate forecasting and have a proven track record of (over)achieving sales targets.
  • Analytical skills: You have a strong analytical mindset and are familiar with tools such as Salesforce, Zoom and Gong.
  • Team player: You are a team player who supports their colleagues in order to achieve the common goal.
  • Communication - You are fluent in both German (C2) and English (C1).
