Who we’re looking for

We are looking for a Senior Operations & Business Operations to join Frekuent. This role will own the definition and execution of internal operational projects, with a strong focus on CRM management, internal tooling & automation, and process optimization. You will act as a bridge between Operations, Sales, Tech, and Support teams, ensuring our workflows scale efficiently as the company grows.

If you enjoy leading cross-functional projects, optimizing processes, and implementing automations, this role will give you the opportunity to shape the backbone of Frekuent’s operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Ownership & Optimization

  • Design, document, and improve internal workflows (onboarding, client support, commercial ops, etc.).

  • Monitor KPIs of operational processes and propose improvements for efficiency and scalability.

  • CRM & Tools Implementation

  • CRM (currently Zoho): ensure setup, optimization, and adoption across teams.

  • Design workflows, automations, and integrations to reduce manual work and manage the small team that implements them.

  • Collaborate with Tech for more advanced developments when needed.

  • Challenge existing processes and workflows in the current CRM setup with a focus on simplicity, control and scalability.

  • Automation & Efficiency

  • Design and implement no-code solutions (n8n, etc.) to connect internal and external tools to: automate repetitive tasks; increase control and visibility on our internal processes.

  • Oversee small-scale scripting (basic Python/JavaScript) and potential database management (SQL) to support automation needs. This is focused on databases related to internal tools and BI, not a client-side, production database.

  • Understand and leverage the use of APIs, both internal and external, to obtain data, derive metrics and connect tools for automation.

  • Leverage the use of AI when appropriate to reduce human workload and improve scalability of internal tools and processes.

  • Project Management

  • Lead cross-functional operational projects (e.g., launching new services, scaling into new markets).

  • Coordinate with Sales, Tech, KYC, and Support to ensure smooth rollouts.

  • Track progress, deadlines, and resources, ensuring minimal disruption to day-to-day operations.

  • Knowledge Management

  • Create and maintain internal documentation, SOPs, and playbooks for processes and tools.

  • Train and support teams in adopting new processes or tools.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in Business Operations, RevOps, or Process/Project Management roles. A technical background is preferred (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Maths, Physics)

  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems (Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).

  • Familiarity with no-code tools (Make, n8n), basic scripting (Python/Javascript, SQL) and API usage.

  • AI fluency: knowledge of the current model ecosystem and providers, ability to identify processes that are good candidates for AI automation, experience in building basic AI pipelines (e.g. using OpenAI’s API) and familiarity with the use of AI agents.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.

  • Ability to lead projects independently and collaborate across functions (Ops, Tech, Sales, Support).

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Experience in payments, SaaS, or CRM-heavy environments is a plus.

  • Fluent in English (Spanish a plus).
