The Opportunity

We're hiring a Head of Finance (control) Finance Senior Manager to join our Finance team in Brazil. This is a high-impact role where you will contribute to capability building in order for the Global Financial Control team to continue to level up in line with business growth and increasing complexity. You will provide essential support to the leadership in Brazil and report into theto the Global Finance team in the UK., Dand driveing high reporting standards across Brazil financial control, ensuring outputs are accurate, timely, and aligned with the evolving requirements of the business. This is a fantastic opportunity to help take Financial Control in Brazil to the next level.

What you’ll do

• Take responsibility for the day-to-day management of financial control activities, including month-end reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, local taxes and accounting requirements, quarterly performance review packs, and interim audit reviews

• Prepare and analyse financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders

• Take responsibility for the accounts payable routines and cash flow management

• Support the continued development of processes and controls, helping to strengthen team ownership and accountability across core finance activities

• Support the year-end audit process

• Provide guidance and mentorship to more junior team members including management of 1 person

• Develop a process for monthly cashflow and balance sheet forecasting
  

Who you are

• Qualified accountant (CRC or equivalent), with 8+ years of experience in financial control and audit

• Strong technical grounding in BRGAAP/IFRS

• Big4 experience/training and experience in industry is essential

• Proven track record in delivering results in a high growth environment

• Exposure to ERP optimisation projects is highly desirable

• Prior experience preparing for audits

• Hands-on experience with NetSuite is a nice to have

• Fluent in English
