As a Senior Finance Manager (m/f/d) at FORMEL SKIN, you will take ownership of the accounting function, playing a crucial role in both establishing solid financial workflows and accounting practices. Your work will shape in bringing more transparency to our reporting.

What you’ll be doing

• Accounting Function Ownership: Processing of all transactions relevant to the general ledger and sub-ledger of our German and international companies

• Financial Reporting: Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and consolidation in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and for IFRS for UK group reporting

• Consolidation across all Entities: Ensuring the correct accounting of complex matters and checking the plausibility of reports and key figures across all entities

• Stakeholder Management: Being the first point of contact for tax advisors, auditors and financial authorities

• Driving compliance: Supporting the implementation of accounting requirements

• Controlling Ownership: Proactively driving the needed adjustments in our accounting set-up and cost controlling

• Improving Workflows: Drive projects that improve transparency, workflows and process efficiency

What you need to shine

• Experience: Big 4 trained with at least 5 years of relevant background with both educational and commercial training with domain expertise.

• Numerical Proficiency: You are confident in handling numbers and have an analytical as well as process-oriented way of working combined with good Excel, DATEV and preferably Netsuite knowledge

• Accounting Proficiency: Professional experience in accounting with expert HGB knowledge and preferably good IFRS knowledge

• Self-Organization and Project Management Skills: You have a distinct goal orientation, the will to further develop yourself and to solve problems as well as the passion to "getting things done"

• Language Proficiency: You are fluent in German and English.
