About the role
The Post-Closing CD Specialist is responsible for reconciling the final version of the Closing Disclosure (CD), including any post-funding revisions, to ensure accuracy, compliance, and data integrity. This role plays a key part in delivering secure, timely, and compliant mortgage disclosures while maintaining detailed documentation within the Loan Origination System (LOS).
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s Loan Origination System (LOS)
Review and ensure accuracy and data integrity for the issuance of the Closing Disclosure and Loan Estimate
Reconcile post-funding revisions to ensure customers receive an exact record of their mortgage transaction
Maintain accurate records of communications and actions related to the disclosure process within the loan file conversation log
Maintain service levels and adhere to regulatory timelines for completion and delivery of disclosures, verified through LOS tracking systems
Deliver mortgage loan disclosures in a secure and accurate manner
Maintain confidentiality and privacy of customer and employee information
Work overtime as needed to support business and regulatory timelines

Qualifications & Skills
Knowledge of mortgage compliance regulations for Conventional, FHA, USDA, and VA loan programs
Familiarity with Encompass (LOS) strongly preferred
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
High school diploma or general education degree required
Excellent oral and written communication skills with a strong customer service orientation
Strong problem-solving ability
Ability to self-direct and adapt to changing timelines and deadlines
Ability to multi-task and succeed in a fast-paced environment
Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret bar graphs
