A large part of Ironhack's success depends on our ability to connect our students with relevant professional opportunities. The Prospector Manager (Freelance) is a critical role to ensure we have a robust pipeline of collaborating companies and that our students access quality practical experiences that boost their careers.

We’re looking for a Prospector Manager who will identify, establish, and maintain relationships with companies to secure internship opportunities for our students. This role will directly impact the professional success of our graduates.

Start and End Dates: July 14, 2025, to November 30, 2025 (with potential for extension).

The Prospector Manager (Freelance) will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and engaging potential partner companies: ensuring alignment with the demand for our students' profiles, making initial contact with companies, identifying their needs, and consolidating potential partnerships.

  • Analyzing resumes of potential candidates: evaluating their learning, skills, and opportunities for placement in partner companies, ensuring a good fit within the organization.

  • Preparing and managing job-related documentation: drafting internship agreements, requesting relevant documentation from participants and companies, and ensuring compliance with deadlines for companies and public administration.

  • Resolving any technical questions related to internships: ensuring support for students during their internship period.

  • Networking with other involved departments: providing necessary information for hiring, coordinating with the student follow-up team, or other teams as required.

  • Analyzing key KPIs: such as student placement rate, internship duration, or company and student satisfaction.

  • A do-er – the moment you get out of bed, you’re getting stuff done.

  • Based in Barcelona, Catalonia, or surrounding areas.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in similar roles, specifically in prospecting and placing students in internships.

  • Knowledge of institutional platforms and administrative procedures, with valuable experience in managing QBID and GIA applications.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and efficient time management.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when dealing with various stakeholders (students, companies, academic coordinators, HR).

  • Fluent in office software tools.

  • Proficiency in Spanish and English is essential. Catalan is a plus.
