This is a Remote position, open to candidates based in the Philippines.


About the Position
Are you a natural relationship builder who thrives in fast-paced marketplaces? Do you enjoy helping customers succeed through hands-on support, strategic insight, and proactive engagement? At Hip eCommerce, we’re looking for a Sales & Success Manager focused entirely on seller growth, retention, and community. You’ll be the frontline advocate for seller success: onboarding new sellers, meeting regularly with top performers, and identifying opportunities to help sellers scale. Reporting to the VP of Growth, you’ll be a trusted partner for our sellers, ensuring they feel supported, engaged, and invested in long-term success on Hip.

How You'll Spend Your Time:

🚀 Seller Acquisition & Onboarding: Drive seller growth by identifying and recruiting high-potential sellers. Conduct discovery calls and walk-throughs to highlight platform benefits. Ensure smooth onboarding experiences by providing early-stage support and guidance.

🤝 Top Seller Success: Build lasting relationships with sellers. Host regular check-ins to review performance, share insights, and provide tailored recommendations. Be their go-to resource for strategic advice on pricing, cataloging, and promotions.

📈 Seller Retention & Engagement: Proactively monitor seller health metrics (sales velocity, listing activity, feedback score). Intervene early to address drops in engagement and identify opportunities to re-engage dormant sellers.

🎙 Live Support & Verbal Communication: Act as a primary point of contact for seller communications. Demonstrate strong verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to lead calls, facilitate video meetings, and conduct training sessions in a clear, articulate, and engaging manner.. Help sellers feel heard, supported, and motivated to grow.

📊 Sales Insights & Reporting: Track and analyze seller trends, retention patterns, and acquisition funnels. Share learnings with internal teams to refine targeting, onboarding, and seller enablement strategies.

🎯 Sellers-First Strategy: Surface seller feedback to improve product features and marketplace policies. Advocate internally for the tools and support sellers need to thrive.

🛠 Support Enablement: Collaborate with Customer Success Agents to escalate and resolve complex seller issues. Help standardize seller playbooks and develop proactive success materials (email templates, webinars, toolkits).


Qualifications:

📣 Excellent Verbal Communicator: You speak confidently and clearly in English. You’re comfortable hosting seller calls, leading presentations, and building trust through direct communication.

🛍 Seller-Focused Strategist: You understand what makes online sellers tick—whether they’re side hustlers or seasoned pros. You’re able to tailor strategies to seller segments and spot opportunities for growth.

📞 Relationship Builder: You enjoy getting to know people, asking the right questions, and forming strong partnerships. You’re energized by seller success and see yourself as their biggest champion.

📊 Analytical Thinker: You monitor key seller KPIs, identify patterns, and create actionable follow-ups. You’re confident working in spreadsheets, CRMs, or sales dashboards.

🎓 Coach & Mentor: You’re comfortable giving feedback and helping sellers understand how to succeed on a marketplace. You don’t just answer questions—you empower people.

🌐 Marketplace-Savvy: Experience working in a two-sided platform (marketplace or SaaS) is a big plus. You understand the dynamics between supply and demand and how to grow both.

💪 Proactive Problem-Solver: You take initiative, work independently, and don’t wait to be told what to do. You see problems as opportunities and move fast to test solutions.

Schedule Requirements

Employees are expected to work Monday-Friday within standard operating hours of 7am-5pm Eastern Time Monday-Thursday, and 8am-12pm Eastern Time Friday.

Salary

The salary for this position is 100,000 PHP (depending on experience) per month.
