Your Role

We’re looking to strengthen our Customer Care team, with the mission of supporting our customers and building close, long-term relationships with them.

Customer Care plays a key role throughout the customer journey at Barkyn: solving delivery issues, supporting nutritional transitions, recommending the right products and plans, collecting feedback, and acting as a close monitor of the overall customer experience through the customer’s eyes.

We’re looking for a communicative and empathetic person who genuinely loves dogs. You don’t need to be an expert in dog nutrition today — we’ll teach you everything. What matters most is a genuine interest in dog health and wellbeing, a strong sense of ownership, and the desire to help customers in a thoughtful and proactive way.

What You’ll Do

  • Communicate with customers daily via phone, email, chat, and social media

  • Present our offer to potential customers considering meals for their dogs

  • Manage customer accounts and support changes to orders and plans

  • Make independent decisions to solve customer issues efficiently

  • Proactively suggest ideas to strengthen customer relationships and improve the experience

  • Learn about dog health and nutrition to become a specialist in the field

What We’re Looking For

Mandatory

  • 1–3 years of experience in Customer Support within a consumer brand (subscription or e-commerce experience is preferred)

  • Native-level written and spoken proficiency in Portuguese (Portugal), Spanish (Spain), or Italian

  • Fluent in English

  • Genuine love for dogs and curiosity about dog-related topics

  • Comfortable working with CX systems and support tools

  • Strong problem-solving mindset, organized, and empathetic


Nice to Have

  • Experience in DTC food, pet, or health categories

  • Native-level proficiency in more than one of the referenced languages

  • Has a dog
