The Role
We are looking for a Brand Messaging Lead who can translate Barkyn’s brand strategy into clear, compelling, and high-performing messaging across all touchpoints. This is not a traditional brand role focused on guidelines or visuals. This role is about turning strategy into words that convert.
We want someone that is comfortable moving between high-level thinking and execution-level copy.
You will sit at the intersection of brand and growth, ensuring that everything we say:
is rooted in customer insight
reflects the brand clearly
drives measurable performance
🔨What You’ll Do
Translate brand positioning into clear messaging frameworks
Define value propositions, messaging pillars, and key narratives
Identify emotional drivers and Category Entry Points (CEPs)
Ensure messaging resonates across different markets (ES, PT, IT)
Develop ad copy, hooks, and angles for performance channels
Write and refine landing page messaging
Shape CRM messaging and lifecycle communication
Create clear, actionable briefs for designers, editors, and creators
Ensure creative is grounded in strong messaging, not just visuals
Work closely with Growth to iterate based on performance data

Translate customer pains, motivations, and objections into messaging
✅ Must-Have
A strong copywriter with a performance mindset
Proven ability to translate brand strategy into messaging and copy
Comfortable working across: ads, CRM and landing pages

You think in systems, not just outputs, understand what drives people to act and you can simplify complex ideas into clear, persuasive language

DTC / subscription experience
UGC-style creative systems
Familiarity with performance marketing environments

🔎 Profile We’re Looking For
5–8+ years of experience in copywriting, brand messaging, or growth marketing

Previous role as:
Brand Messaging Lead / Strategist
Senior Copywriter (performance-focused)
Creative Strategist (DTC / growth)
Experience in DTC, e-commerce, or subscription businesses
Background in high-performance marketing environments (e.g. Meta, Google, CRM-driven orgs)
Proven track record writing conversion-driven copy across ads, landing pages, and lifecycle (CRM)
💡 Bonus
Multi-country go-to-market experience
Experience launching retail from a D2C base
Familiarity with supply chain and retail operations tooling
